Tiger Energy

I came across Tiger in the world foods section of Tesco, it's in this department because it's an import – from Poland I think. It comes in a few different varieties, but we'll discuss the 'normal' version today.
To be completely honest, there isn't a huge amount to say about this beverage; it's an attempted Red Bull clone - both the flavour and packaging to an extent.

It doesn't do a bad job of it in fact, it's probably more similar than the likes of Tesco KX (previously Kick). It has a certain flavour to it, similar to that of Red Bull – but not the same – and not as nice. This is slightly sweeter than Red Bull and that may appeal to some people; it also lacks the harsh sharpness of drinks such as Rockstar – again, this may appeal to some people.

The value is reasonable. I paid around 60p for the bottle photographed (which is 500ml). I think that the 250ml cans are around the same price for some reason; although, the prices do tend to fluctuate a lot, perhaps due to being an import. (I seem to remember the cans at around 99p at some point.) Clearly, this is a lot cheaper than Red Bull, so it's definitely worth a try; although, it is more expensive than KX and the like.

The drink has a caffeine content of 32mg/100ml, fairly typical. So in summary, this is a fairly 'boring', cheap(ish), standard energy drink. If you happen to be in Tesco and want to stock up without breaking the bank, give it a shot, but I don't think that the drink will leave you craving more.

I know that Tiger do a number of different varieties, some of which are a little more intesting, they'll be reviewed in due time!
